The StorageTek "Gold Lab" is a 20,000 square foot facility containing approximately 400 pieces of equipment. Virtually every type of StorageTek product is represented, as are server platforms from HP, Sun, IBM, Compaq, Dell, and others. Work conducted at Gold Lab includes proof-of-concept, pre-sales and post-sales support, SAN architecture development, interoperability testing and customer demonstration of proposed solutions. The Lab is a shared resource utilized by StorageTek, StorageTek external partners, VADs, VARs and customers.
